You have seen the work that I have done so far to fight for freedom, democracy and choice in Europe, but one man is not enough. Which is why I am asking YOU to join me in the fight for Europe. This is why European Action needs to be expanded into a full-blown Action Group. This is the place to join the battle for the future. Join now.
- Erik Schrama
Fundamental principles of the European Action Group:
# Autonomy and independence (both for the EU as a whole and for the members of EA specifically)
# Direct democracy: Bottom-up, not top-down.
# A Europe that is co-operative, not top-down autocratic.
# Choice: Europeans should always have the freedom to choose.
# Anti-globalist and limited in territory: European Action's activities are limited to EU member-states, nowhere else.
EA is also NOT pan-European: We focus on democratising the EU, not expanding the EU into Western Asia, Northern Africa and the Middle-East. This means that countries like Kazakhstan, Morocco, Israel, Turkey and Canada are NOT European and should NEVER join the EU or any EU institution or program.
# Anti-transatlantic, but putting Europe First: Rejection of American, Russian, Chinese and Israëli interference in European affairs.
# Membership to EA is limited to EU-nationals.
# Own work principle: All work in Europe should be done by our own citizens, who have a stake in Europe's economy and society.
# Concern for European society and the wellbeing of Europe's languages and cultures.
# Concern for Europe's ethnic and cultural identities and traditions.
# Concern for the world's nature and environment, which means looking at nature, not ideology.
# Broadness, a refusal of extreme ideologies, these include racism, communism, Naziism, zionism, predatory capitalism, wokeism, CRT, transgenderism, etc.
# Democratic control (one man/woman, one vote)
# A refusal of predatory capitalism, this includes credit-for-profit, interest bearing loans, non-member shareholding and a refusal of predatory and exploitative mining practices in the 3rd world by EU companies.
# Euronationalism: Europeans need to start to help themselves and be proud of the ideal of a united Europe, rather than continue to look to the US and China to solve our economic and political problems for us.
# Dire consequences for European traitors: Politicians who have sold Europe out to the Yanks, Chinese, Russians, Israelis and Big Business in general need to feel the sting of their mistake ...
# Brand Europe: The word "Europe" has become "dirty" to many, we need to clean the image of Europe up again, and we can only do that by first cleaning up Europe itself.
WHAT IS EUROPEAN ACTION?
European Action is a voluntary citizens' initiative (that I've set up in June 2023) which is EU-critical and that aims to inform Europe’s policy makers about the important and sometimes controversial but always far-reaching matters that they are regularly called to vote on. By means of these open letters (which have even made it onto the floor of the European Parliament) we lobby for more democracy in Europe and to help European citizens who are otherwise not heard in Brussels and Strasbourg to voice their worries and concerns in the house of European democracy. It is European Action's mission to stick our noses where it's not wanted: in the political business of the MEPs and the European Commission. This because we suspect that MEPs are often badly informed about the questions they have to vote on and usually just vote according to the wishes of their party or the Commission, without ever asking any critical questions themselves. European Action is dedicated to informing Europe's elected representatives about the real impact of their decisions and about the alternative options that exist.
Because the EU is a mess. And somebody needs to fix it, but nobody in the EU seems interested to do so.
So we'll just have to do it ourselves then ...
You can find all of European Action's letters & initiatives below and co-sign the ones you agree with. Thank you for your help.
